The Price of Success - Post 368

This is something I don't think is talked about enough. Everyone wants success but not many people ever look at the price of success.

As I'm sitting here recording this video I'm thinking to myself, the price of success is very real and very worth it and I almost didn't pay it, I'm filled with gratitude for all the people in my life that encouraged me to stay on the path and to pay the full price of success.

See, there were many times I wanted to quit. There were many times where I felt like the price for of success was too high. There were many times I almost gave up... But I didn't and that's part of the price of success. You have to give relentless effort and hard work for as long as it takes. You can ease up from time to time, but the price of success is hard work and relentless dedication and determination to achieving the things you want in your life.

Too many people ignore the price of success and fail to understand what it is before they "board the train". They don't realize that it's THEIR effort that powers that train and the ONLY way it's going to get to where they want it to go is through their efforts.

It's hard work. It's demanding. It's a lot of challenges.

That's the price of success and I'm not one to ever say it's easy, but I will always say it's definitely worth it...

And the lesson is, get excited to pay the price knowing that you will need to pay the entire full price of success if success is what you want!

5 Things you would Do, Have, or Become if money were no object - Post 366

If money were no object, what would you do, have, or become?

We all like to dream about what we would do if we won the lottery or came into some other unexpected source of money. It's a fun thing to do but most of us don't really expect to ever see it happen. We've all heard that we are more likely to be struck by lightning than to win the lottery.

In this video Randy Gage asks what are the 5 things you would you do, have or become if money was no object.

Chasing Dreams - Post 364

When we are young we have lots of dreams.

Dreams about what we want to own, do and become.

Places we want to go and experience.

But something happens as we get older. Reality slowy creeps into our lives.

We get out of school and take that job, even though it's not what we wanted, so we can start earning a paycheck. We begin to cross off our dreams one by one as the years go by. We start shrinking our dreams to eventially fit into the reality of what we earn then suddenly it's too late.

This short video is by Randy Gage as he describes how he chased his dreams only to have them yanked away by reality. Randy didn't give up however and neither have I. If you want to learn more about what we are doing to reach our dreams then complete the information request at the bottom of this page and I will share with you a better way.

Facing your Fear - Post 363

So many people allow fear to rob them of their reasoning, halt their happiness, or derail their dreams. I certainly have had the same problem in building my own business. Here is a video by Les Brown titled, "Facing Your Fear" and after the video are thirteen quotes on fear—the kind of fear that keeps you from moving forward in your life and achieving your full potential.
  1. Abraham Maslow, psychologist: "I have learned the novice can often see things that the expert overlooks. All that is necessary is not to be afraid of making mistakes, or of appearing naive."
  2. Bill Cosby, comedian: "Decide that you want it more than you are afraid of it."
  3. Gandhi, spiritual/political leader: "The enemy is fear. We think it is hate; but, it is fear."
  4. Winston Churchill, UK politician. statesman; former British Prime Minister: "When I look back on all these worries, I remember the story of the old man who said on his deathbed that he had had a lot of trouble in his life, most of which had never happened."
  5. Judy Blume, author: “Each of us must confront our own fears, must come face to face with them. How we handle our fears will determine where we go with the rest of our lives. To experience adventure or to be limited by the fear of it.”
  6. Don Miguel Ruiz, author, speaker, Shaman: Death is not the biggest fear we have; our biggest fear is taking the risk to be alive—the risk to be alive and express what we really are."
  7. Ralph Waldo Emerson, essayist, poet, philosopher: "When a resolute young fellow steps up to the great bully, the world, and takes him boldly by the beard, he is often surprised to find it comes off in his hand, and that it was only tied on to scare away the timid adventurers."
  8. Dale Carnegie, speaker, writer: "Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy."
  9. Oprah Winfrey, television pioneer, actress/producer: “The thing you fear most has no power. Your fear of it is what has the power. Facing the truth really will set you free.”
  10. Henry Ford, US indistrialist: "One of the greatest discoveries a man makes, one of his great surprises, is to find he can do what he was afraid he couldn't do."
  11. Frank Sinatra, singer, actor: "Fear is the enemy of logic."
  12. Colin Powell, US statesman; four-star general: "Don't take counsel of your fears or naysayers."
  13. Franklin D. Roosevelt, 32nd US President: "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself."

10 Million Millionaires - Post 362

Economist Paul Zane Pilzer says the Wellness industry will create 10 million new millionaires in the next 10 years.
  • Wellness sales skyrocketed from $200 Billion in 2002 to $500 billion in 2007
  • New millionaires that earned their fortune in wellness are the fastest growing minority in the US
  • More than 10 million US households have a networth of $1 million or more.
  • By 2016 there will be 20 million US millionaire households.

My good friend Corey Gold is one of the new wellness millionaires and he is working with me to help my family become one of those households and so can yours.
